Most skiers on their way to Sunday River pass this small area located on the Sunday River Access Road. In 1971 there was a 500 foot long rope tow operating at this area. The school still uses the area for jumps but the rope tow no longer operates. Most of the wheel hubs for the tow are still visible. (1971 Ski Maine Promotion and Personal Visit) That's all I have on this one, anybody have anything else to add?
