Snowfall

Two kinds of numbers live here and they are not interchangeable. Reported totals are what resorts publish from their own snow stakes, collected via OnTheSnow and archived snow reports since 2012. Modeled totals come from the ERA5 weather reanalysis at each area's coordinates back to 1990: consistent everywhere, but they run about 1.3x below reported totals at the median and 3x to 4x below at the big northern mountains, so use them for trends and comparisons, never for absolute depth.
