Thanks to Gary Allen , we now know of this ski area that operated in Charlotte. It was a small, private area, located on the side of Mount Philo. Turner asked Murray Foote in Charlotte if he could put a rope tow on a piece of land across the street from his house for his son Glenn and daughter Laura to ski on. It was quite a challenge to grab the rope with soggy mittens and be whisked up a 100' to the top of a small hill and be able to ski powder and moguls on a farm pasture." Mr.
