History First, many thanks to Art Olive who sent us many scanned images of this lost area which were provided by Dave Potter Whitcomb, the grandson of the founder of this former ski area! Most pictures featured here are from them, unless otherwise noted. Skiing at the Peterborough Golf Club, which is next to what became Whit's, apparently started in the mid 1930's.
